Prayers for a sweet little boy!

Another prayer request to add to the list!!! I have been following the story of a sweet little boy who was shaken by his babysitter! His parents trusted their caregiver and this woman has totally flipped this family's world upside down!

This story is dear to my heart as I worked with, and heard of several cases, when I worked at Children and Youth of children affected by Shaken Baby Syndrome! It is a horrible act of selfishness that can either result in death or major injuries or lifelong trauma! Being a parent of my sweet Riley and Luke, I know that things can get stressful--especially when you have a baby that is unable to be soothed! But, God gives us the tools, the people, the spirit to put our cares and stresses upon Him! In those moments, you plead with God to give you the motherly strength and peace to love your sweet baby unconditionally! And if its just too much, you call a friend, a relatives, anyone who can give you a break OR you put the baby in its crib for a short time while you take a breather! The crying is MUCH better than an end result of SBS! More education has begun about Shaken Baby Syndrome however there is still many that need to be educated and many more that need to have tougher prosecution for this horrible act! Pray that God will rise up those who are able to teach, love, and prosecute those in this situation! OK enough of my rambling.......

So go meet sweet Noah and pray for him tomorrow as he is undergoing surgery on his eyes!
