Happy Birthday Sweet Boy!

On Luke's bday, we (the kids and I) were all sick so we took a little trip to the store to pick out an already made bday cake--Luke picked Thomas cupcakes and was totally psyched to eat them!  The LOVES "momas" as he calls Thomas the train!  
It was Luke's day but I can't help but take pictures of Miss Riley, she is growing so fast and to me is the most beautiful thing in the world!  Age 4 has been quite a journey for us as we have tackled and continue to tackle all sorts of independence, fits, new friends and new things being learned, sibling rivalry, etc.!  Its a hard age but its also a very unique age and we are thankful for her incredible creativity that keeps each day new and full :)  She makes us smile each morning!
Back to Luke, we got him a mini hoop for his Bday and he has been loving it!  This shot is for you Uncle Doug!  Everyone thinks he looks like my brother, Doug, and right here he is definitely attempting to carry on his Uncle's BB skills!
This is Luke on the day of his big bday party!  He was loving his bday hat and had jumped on top of a big bag of balls that we had bought to put in one of the mini pools for Luke and his buds!  Mom grabbed the camera to caption this perfect bday picture!
My mom and dad got Luke his first big boy bike and his first pairs of big boy pants!  SO, of course we had to capture a picture of him with both!  Pretty cute if you ask me :)!  He had a great day and just enjoyed the company of all of our family and friends!  HAPPY BIRTHDAY SWEET BOY!  We love you!
